Job Description
• P&L Head of Spices trading vertical based out of the Agri Commodities Trading Desk at India- responsible for end to end trading of all categories of Spices – Cloves, Ginger, Pepper, Cardamom, Turmeric, Chilli, Cumin, Coriander, Fenugreek and Dry Fruits - Almonds, Cashews, Pistachio, Hazelnuts, Walnuts, Dates, Raisins and other super foods
• Work on building a go-to market strategy in Spices, Dry Fruits trading, in line with the overall vision of the Organisation. Responsible for building immediate term, medium-term and long-term strategy for Spices & Dry Fruits in segments of Trading and Value addition
• Responsible for creating a robust Risk management strategy for Spices & Dry Fruits vertical to ensure mitigation of Price risk, Counter party, Credit risk, Basis risk and other environmental risks
• Responsible for defining and executing backward integration strategy in India for Spices & Dry Fruits
• Identifying and establish strategic alliances across all major production and consumption geographies for processing of Spices & Dry Fruits.
• Lead customer interaction, customer account plans, assisting their procurement, supply chain needs. Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new accounts and venturing into new markets
• Work closely with Supply Chain team for timely execution of shipments
• Ensure MIS reports on P&L, Sales positions, Strategy updates are sent to the leadership on periodic basis
