Job Description
• P&L Head of Oilseeds and Edible Oils trading vertical based out of the Agri Commodities Trading Desk in India- responsible for end to end trading of all categories of Oilseeds and Edible Oils – Soya, Sesame, Ground nut, Palm Oil, Sunflower Oil and Meals/Cakes.
• Work on building a go-to market strategy in Oilseeds and Edible Oils trading, in line with the overall vision of the Organization.
• Responsible for building immediate term, medium-term and long-term strategy for Oilseeds and Edible Oils in segments of Trading and Value addition
• Build a Trade book of 0.4 Million Metric tons of Oilseeds and Edible Oils in Year 1 and 2.5 Million Metric tons by Year 5, which includes Domestic Trade, Import into India and Exports out of India
• Responsible for creating a robust Risk management strategy for Oilseeds and Edible Oils vertical to ensure mitigation of Price risk, Counter party, Credit risk, Basis risk and other environmental risks
• Build the business vertical for any product adjacencies under Oilseeds and Edible Oils portfolio and develop strategy
• Should be able to work with senior leadership in communicating and executing strategy and investments, required to establish the organization as a significant player in the Oilseeds and Edible Oils and adjacencies
• Responsible for defining and executing backward integration strategy in India for Oilseeds and Edible Oils.
• Identifying and establish strategic alliances across all major production and consumption states for Processing of Oilseeds and Edible Oils, as required.
• Lead customer interaction, customer account plans, assisting their procurement ; supply chain needs.
• Responsible for sourcing of required Oilseeds and Edible Oils at right price and time to ensure the Sales are executed within the required timelines.
• Work closely with Supply Chain team for timely execution of shipments
